The Naknek River of King Salmon,Alaska has around 30,000 King Salmon return each year to spawn. Alaska King Salmon fishing begins in June and chrome bright fish are available until the season closes at the end of July. The peak of the run is from about June 20-July 15, although this varies some from year to year. King Salmon will provide you with a fight unmatched by other salmon. Sometimes it's a question of who will wear out first, you or the fish. King Salmon fishing on the Naknek takes place from the boat and the most productive method is trolling diving plugs and large spinners. We will get you to the various hot spots in a very comfortable 20 ft. Willies Boat. There are also opportunities for fly-fishing King Salmon. The Naknek River King Salmon range from 15-50+lbs., with the average around 30lbs. The season limit for King Salmon is five, so you will have  plenty of fish to share with friends and family. During the King season several million sockeye also make their way up the Naknek. After getting your King you fly-fish for a limit of Sockeye. Even if you've never been flyfishing this can be a great introduction to the sport. Fish processing is included in all packages. Groups from two to four are ideal but larger groups and singles can be accommodated.
